Unemployment and relationship

My boyfriend was made redundant from Lehman Brothers a little while ago. He took it very badly and became moody and not very nice to me. In the end it broke us up and we are no longer a couple. I think losing their jobs is very bad for men as it hurts their pride, especially when the woman is still working like I was.

Has this happened to anyone else? It is not very nice I found.

Did he become violent when he was angry? Some guys totally lose it when they get angry?

Its doesn't sound like a good situation to be in...people need to control anger not matter how bad it is...especially with those that they care about. I think you might be lucky to have broken up!

No he wasn't violent I wouldn't stand for anything like that. I would have kicked his butt because I am Polish and we are strong women...must be the beer we drink

No he just became a not nice person. He would try to make me feel bad about myself and would criticise me all the time. He would make me feel ugly boo to him but someways I don't blame him as he was going through a hard time.

Yes that is my picture and you are a very nice man. It makes me happy when people say kind things like that...I have not been feeling great about myself for a while.
