Lost my job

Postby Wingman » Thu Nov 06, 2008 10:38 pm

I've just lost my job and things are looking pretty bleak at the moment. Is anyone in a similar situation?

Don't know what I'm going to do. Really don't want to have to go and get unemployment benefit and would be willing to take a pay cut or a temping job. I have over 20 year experience and think I could offer a lot to a company.

Its happening to a lot of Sharon so don't be too blue. At least you've got good experience and if you've been sensible and saved a bit of money through the boom times you should be fine.

Its worse for the young people who have been in work only a couple of years. They lose their job and they have little experience, probably student debts if they went to uni, no time to save much money, no house or if they have managed to get on the ladder a massive mortgage and negative equity. Now that sucks!

Keep on trucking...why would I ever stop.
