Personal hygiene advice for job interviews

Postby simonwallace » Tue Jan 13, 2009 12:21 am

I've added a personal hygiene page to the what to wear at interview section of the site.

I know this comes naturally to most people but you'll be surprised the number of people who forget to clean or cut their nails before job interviews.

You couldn't be more right Simon. Whilst working as a recruitment consultant some time ago I had a client who turned down a candidate that they really liked in lots of ways because he had dirty fingernails! They reasoned that someone who doesn't clean their nails is someone who doesn't pay attention to detail.

It's such a small thing but so important.

Kind regards
