I currently advertise my CV on Monster and http://www.cityjobs.com/

Does anyone else know of good sites to list your cv for jobs in the financial sector.

I have been using the local press lately and a local post office which puts jobs on little cards in the window - not very technical but it meets the requirements at the moment.

I also started using the internet to find work. I used Gumtree which was good for lower skilled type work.

The more I use the internet the more useful places I find though.

I've just posted my CV on Monster and got calls from ten recruitment agents the next day...not all of them were very relevant but I think they might lead to a few potential job interviews.

I have never used Monster as it looks a little bit too complicated for me. Also for the sort of work I do, you don't generally need a complete CV. Maybe I'll use it when I get a bit more experience and am looking to get a better job.

Then again I might be moving back to Poland before then. Do they have a Polish website?

We've just realised a free online CV called CVstory (http://www.cvstory.com). It uses the best bits of facebook/MySpace to let jobseekers look even better than the boring 2-4 page CV. Feel free to give it a go. And dont worry there's no catch, we are asking companies with vacancies to advertise their jobs on the site (so thats how we'll make our money).

Jobseekers have to realise that in the 21st century most recruiters and employers now use social networking sites and Google to find out about potential employees, so why not make sure you're seen in the best light possible and stand out from the crowd

In the UK I stated to use http://www.jobsite.co.uk I think this is pretty good for the UK...

...I am also using recruitment consultants.
