Retail job interview questions

Real jobs can include amongst many others working part-time at the weekend in high street stores; visual merchandising; designing shop layouts; working at head office arranging sales campaigns; product buying jobs, logistic jobs and sales analysis jobs.

One important aspect of the retail industry is understanding the product that each company sells and who they are intending to sell it to. Therefore before going to a retail job interview it is important to understand which products the retailer is selling, who they intend to sell the products to and who their main rival stores are.

Retail is also a highly people based industry, with a focus upon selling the product to customers. Even if you are not on the shop floor selling the products, showing that you are a good communicator and able to get your message across to customers will be a good skill to highlight in retail job interviews.
